would i need to buy a whole new tranny or could i some how make my auto727 tranny into a manual ?

 

technically you can rebuild the tranny with a fully manual valve body. you have to make the shifts from 1-2 2-3 and also downshift. had mine set up like that for a short while but without the clutch pedal it was kinda gay...
