Could this be the starter or ignition tumbler?

The car was starting fine. One day I turn the key and nothing happens. The engine does not crank. I turn the key about 10 times and then it starts. Sounds like a bad starter solenoid. I had a similar issue in another car and it was the ignition tumbler but I just can't see that being the case with this car. Any other suggestions?

 

sounds like solenoid or switch at the column. did you ever solve this issue?
