Looking 4 tech info
Hi
So i was reading some great input from people hers, I trying to establish the I/C cluster limiter(voltage regulator) of course of the Instrument cluster, I replaced it with new version but I put 12v in and get 12v out for lack of a better sample. and the body of the new part reads 12v when using meter to the exterior of the case? But the fuel gauge works, now .. So I thought the limiter was supposed to be 5 v to the gauges.. I used another type that provide that 5 v output and the fuel gauge goes to E with half tank of fuel.. Sener works, ohmed that out set up new ground from tank to continuity to ground connection. Oh yeah temp gauge doesn't move.with either but the wire has continuity The mopar manual states the temp gauge is slow thermistor and is grounded when the dash is reinstalled through the screws into the mounting flanges. Not sure any help appreciate...
