Neutral Switch 68

My neutral switch is no more working, if i ground the wire the car will start.

Unfortunately it is the one prong version (early 68) which is harder to find. Can i use the trhree prong version , using only the pin for the starter relay or is the design (internally) different at all?

Thanks, Uwe

Is this for the 68 Chrysler 300? Is it on the trans or pedal linkage? More info is allways good to help you.

It is for the 1968 Chrysler 300, the switch is in the transmission housing with one prong. The question is, if the easy available switch for the late 68 models and on can be used, even if the backuplight function is not used.

True, they do know their stuff and I have bought from them before however, his are used. I'd rather pay a little extra and get a new one.

Yes, but most of these parts he has had for decades. You should see Pats garages.. FILLED with Torqueflites.

He built my trans, and I'd feel 100% safe running anything new or used from him.

Be that as it may, I personally would rather pay a little more for a new part, whatever it is. I've gotten burned too many times in the past with "like new" or "slightly used" parts.
