I don't know where you are , just a quick look. AutoZone has them, I would look for Moog ? brand though...
It does require a special socket for replacement..

Mid Canada Suspension. I got the entire front end kit (Moog) for my '65 300 from them. I doubt you will find the lowers at a parts store. They are different than those on A Bodies.Originally Posted by EdR

Let me know if you find this tool or if anyone knows where to find them. I have had no luck. They are specific to the c-bodies, and from what I read some 70's light trucks. Every time I think i've found one it turns out to be the wrong size.Originally Posted by TVLynn

Thanx I will have to measue to make sure. I do believe that the a and b bodies have different sizes as well but could be wrong. I will see what mancini has. Did you use yours for a c body? They are specific, as I mentioned.

Yes the lowers are a complete cast iron unit that bolts to the spindle through the backing with the two lower bolts, and also connects to the tie rod end. Going to have to unload the torsion bar or put the jack under the spindle so it does not come flying apart, when un bolted. Lot's of tension and potential for injury. Be careful.

herer is a picture of the lower ball joint hanging down underneith the spindle. You won't need to remove the backing plate, I just did cause I was cleaning and painting. You can see how the lower joint will attach. Taking this apart can be dangerous but common sence and a little for thought will go a long way. I had the car supported by the frame and used the jack to lift the lower control arm and take the tension off it.

Here's the link to the Mancini Racing front end tools...small and big upper ball joint sockets. Measure yours to comfirm which one is for you. I used mine on my Aspen and mine where the larger ball joints.Originally Posted by bboogieart

Thanx for the link. I do beleive mine are 1.951 but have not checked them yet. I have a cheap mike but am not familiar with converting inches to what ever that 1.951 is.
