1971 Radiator question

I would like to replace my wife's radiator in her car so we can attempt to run the car on the street some times for cruse nights. The thing is that we don't want much more wight in front of the car so that it doesn't effect weight transfer when we race. Both outlet and inlet are driver side on a 440. 11.2 compression 10.4 et car. so it runs a little hot . what would we be able to get away with just a stock replacement but aluminum 22in?

I was thinking that 4 core would have another 1.5 or 2 gal and in the very front of the car adding 12-16 lbs may result in the car doing a burnout off the line. it may not be a big deal but I found this for around $350 http://classicfordradiator.com/66-69...ator35219.aspx

But if I went with a bigger one but it was cheaper I would be ok with it. But with the 26" I need an adapter for the support right? If anyone has links to others that would be helpful. thanks

re: aluminum radiator
I sell the radiator for $365.00 + shipping. You can use electric fans, and there are brackets for the factory schrod, already built into the radiator

Please feel free to call me

Ok so I ordered from performance cooling 3 core aluminum with 16" fan and aluminum shroud. fits in the place of the 22" radiator and should cool 850hp so that will do great with us in the 555-570 range. Just in case anyone wants to know I'm going to post the wight of both of them with water in them before i do the install.
