Any value on a '72 Barracuda with a Slant 6/4spd?

I found one for sale and after some research saw it was one of 820 Slant 6 cars and one of 224 Slant 6/4 speed cars. It's orange with white interior. Now if I were to get this would it be worth keeping original? Obviously I'd rather a bigger motor, but I'm guessing it's rare now as there weren't too many to begin with and perhaps there's someone out there who'd have a great appreciation for it.

Personally DO what you want with it. BUT keep anything you remove... so that you can return to stock at a later date ??? It would be great as a highway cruiser maybe 25 mpg
Definitely needs to be saved

The bottom line is "whats it worth to you" and with these old cars are you handy with a wrench, sounds like a nice car to cruise in, with todays gas prices

The slant 6 motors can be built up and can be a real blast to drive with a stick behind them. If its within your price range, I'd say grab it.

I had one of those many years ago. Mine was a 1970 vintage and it was built to the *****. .060 over, shaved head, offy aluminum intake with a Holly 4BBL and headers with dual exhaust. Pistol grip 4 speed. That car ran like a raped ape.... (until the fire), then it became a parts car.
