Hi everybody! I need help finding a part for my Carter 2 barrel carburetor. The fast idle cam is broken. Is this a part i can order by itself or is it in a kit? I haven't been able to find one anywhere.

 

unlikely you can order just the part. that carb was made for very very very many years. finding a good carb should be easy and cheap. if it looks like i fits it WILL. HINT: the float level is 1/4 , with casting setting top up like it would be on the engine, with lid off. it NEVER is different. the carb has 3 castings. on the rear is 2 screws that go from the top casting into the bottom casting. be sure the casting faces are flat, and do not over tighten the screws to tight that will warp the castings. just just two fingers on the screwdriver.
