1939 Dodge taillight problem

1939 Dodge taillight problem

Hello! My 1939 Dodge (D11) has a taillight issue. My brake lights and parking lights work, however, when I pull the headlight switch out all the way, the headlights come on but the taillights do not. The bulbs are good.

I thought the headlight switch might be bad. But without a diagram I have no idea which terminals are hot and which are not in either of the two positions. Any input is appreciated.

After 76 years wires have got to to be junk.

Not really. It's an originally 49,000 mile car always garaged. Gee, thanks for your insight!😂

Check it with a test light and see if you have and output...
