1955 job rated 1/2 ton pu

anyone know how to tell the difference between the trucks such as c1b, c3b? mine is a flat 6, 3speed manual on the column, 2 wd, it has a 6 volt system and it has the job rated logos on the fenders. thanks for any help.

I used to drive a '54 1/2 ton. Factory 318/granny 4spd. with a 6 volt system.
What did you want to know?

It may be as simple as the C1 was a 6 cylinder and the C3 had a V8.

thanks, i was able to find out it is a c3. all i had to do was clean off the vin plate under the hood a little better thanks
