1949 Special Deluxe

Hello, I am a new owner of a Plymouth I no pretty much nothing about. Especially a flathead 6. After market parts are not easy to come by like 54 Chevy I previously had. I love this car and have already restored the interior and rusty floorboards. Does anyone know if there are any bolt on disk brake conversions as well as powering steering kits made for this car. Driving is a blast, but needing to stop quickly is a little sketchy. Finally, is top speed 50-55 mph normal? Is there a rear end from a modern car that can be a straight swap? Thank you for any help or advise.

I installed ECI kit on the front of my 50 Dodge. Includes new dual reservoir master cylinder. Works great.
