54 mopar conversion

I just got a 54 savoy with an inline 6 and was intersted in putting a small block in it, is there any conversion kits already for this or maybe somebody who has done it and give me a little info, also looking to sell original motor, trans ,axle ,and wiring harness. appreciate all the help anyone caN Offer

I've never done a swap on a vehicle that old. I would imagine though that you would haveto make up your own motor mounts though, depending on the motor you'll want to install. Maybe make up a new tranny crossmember too.

You have a 170 inline six or is it different? got any pics?

Hello redmonkey; I have a 55 dodge coronet . I too am looking to put a small block in mine 88 Chrysler 318 , 904 trans and rearend. Car has whats left of a 270 poly and 3spd. Good luck with your project. Mike
