if i were you, i'd ditch the glasspack idea and go with a flowmaster or similar style muffler and also have the resonators removed. i am running a bassani and love it, it has a real nice rumble at idle roars pretty good down the road but isn't obnoxious.

also, right off the bat on the bottom of the air filter housing there is a plastic connector that connects the airbox to the radiator support. simply pull the airbox out and remove the reducer dealy-o. you can also cut the front of the airbox out a bit as well as the side facing the fender.

on mine, i cut the airbox and replaced the intake resonator box with a straight tube - it performs the same as an expensive cold air intake kit.

cutting the resonators out will add noise to the inside of the truck, not sure if that is what you want or if you want everyone else to hear it.

i like the sound of resonators. seems to make them sound like they run silky smooth. i put glass packs on my old 65 318 wide block truck. sounded ok then i added resonators i fell in love with that sound/

Lol @Polara, I'm doing the same thing you are. Pissing my neighbors off. They've been obnoxious and downright discourteous for 10 years, Time to show them what a real ****-off is.

i know how that go's RROriginals, every since i got my Polara some one or one's have bin calling the county constantly about the car, i had it sitting ont he street putting a new engine in it, they bitched about that, and i can understand that, so i moved it into my driveway, and they bitched about that too, so i had it moved to a buddies shop for a month or so, braught it back put it back in the drive way and they did the same, so as of now it's sitting the back yard. now i know it's not the prettiest thing to look @ right now cause it half primer white and green and the hoods gray, but $hit.... i think it's rather f***ed up, since i work night shifts or late shift @ work, i figure a nice loud exhaust @ in the morning will do the job ha ha =p

Lol, my neighbors have stolen my bikes out my front yard, called the cops on my dog, made my mom put her '86 Fiero GT in the garage, cut and killed half our big cherry tree, CONSTANTLY, I can't even count how many times we could call the cops on them in one day, IE - "Ginsu Girl" The guys wife was chasing him with a knife in the front yard, Their dogs bark nonstop, Their dog has bitten me (Rottie-pit mix), They have a car sitting in the yard (Chrysler Laser XT) that doesn't move, SOOOO I figured "Hell, I'll get myself a nice, classic, roaring car" so the one question I asked the guy about the 'Runner was, "When I come up to see it, start it up and rev the engine for me."
