46rh sensor problem

HI : I repaired a 46rh trans. and gov. sensor, gov.solenoid are new. Proble is when i put a small load on the back and truck jumps on the road, the sensor fails out. Replaced it two times, but the problem still. The scanner said wiht the code 1763 should be oxigen sensor because they use the same power circuit. I replaced that two. Apreciate your help..

Thannsk...

46RH does not have a governor sensor. 46RE does have a governor pressure sensor. I am a little confused by your description of the problem.
1st What year is the truck and what engine does it have?
2nd What was the original complaint and trouble code you found?
3rd What parts have you replaced?

I do not understand what you mean when you say you put a small load on the back and the truck jumps. Do you physically put something in the bed or are you talking about putting the truck under load as in driving? What do you mean when you say the truck jumps?

I will give you a hand if I can. good luck.

bad gov. sensor

CONDOR: Thansk for your asitans. Here is my try, it is 96 RAM 1500 5.9 4x4 and it doesnt shift in to foward. The code 1763 is gov.sensor volts to high and seccion 7 of the scanner troublesht. said a bad oxigen sensor , short or open could be, cause they uses the same power cable. The ATSG manual on the troublesht. said if the presure in the gov. port is to high in drive and idle , change gov. slenoid. Already change gov. sensor, gov. solenoid and oxigen sensor. Truck ok again . In a few days putting , or carring anything in the bed problem is back. Does not shift in to forward ,same code again.
Always apreciate your help..
