98' 360 into a 03'

98' 360 into a 03'

My motor mounts will not work on the 98' motor. Is there a way to make it work?

Fabricate some new ones. I take it your trying to install the 98 360 into an 03 ram 1500? What motor do you have in the 03 now? If it is a 360, they should bolt up to the block as they did not change the 360 block for just one year.

Yes, it is a ram 1500 4 wheel drive. And it is a 360 that was in the truck and aparently they did change the block. I was hoping maybe that some other mounts may work. The 98' 360 has 3 bolt holes for the motor mount while the 03' 360 has 4 holes and appears to be move futher forward.

I did not know that about them. That is some good info.

My guess is that you are going to have to fabricate some new mounts then or somehow rework the ones that you have to work. I'm not sure who sells anything for this conversion.
