On my truck i have the standard startup buzzer i've had the truck for about a year now and i hate waking up for school and the first thing i hear is that damn buzzer any suggestions on how i can turn it off but still have it go off if i leave my lights on or something?

 

is the key buzzer a diff sound than the headlight buzzer? if so then yes you just have to find the key wire going into the buz box. i wouldnt cut it, pull the whoule harnes off of the box and insert a very small screwdriver in the female end and that should loosen the clip that hold the wire in place, then heat shrink the exposed end to prevent shorts.

 

i think they are different i know they both are damn annoying
