Gauge Cluster Swap

Hey all

I replaced the gauge cluster on my 99 ram (to get a tech). I was wondering if there is anyway to reset the odometer. The miles on the other truck are way off, was wondering if its stored in the trucks computer and just need to do something to reset it?

Let me know what you thing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Austin

Not sure. But in many cases this can be done by swapping the original speedometer into the new cluster. There's probably also a legal way to alter the odometer reading if it's justified and it's done through the proper legal channels.
