Our '92 gas flat deck has always been called Fred. How about something from the Indiana farm boy's name that designed your engine.

Clessie Lyle Cummins.

How 'bout "The Anti-Christ" in reference to the 80's film The Gods Must be Crazy?

I have to admit, Clessie would be a pretty badass name. But I was hoping to stick around more the nicknames, than actual names! Like the anti-christ

2-stroke

So years ago when I use to install granite counter tops with two other guys (a good friend and the company owner), we use to always stop at a donut shop in the morning and get coffee. Well I use to always get a blueberry muffin. One day we were talking about nick names my friend past the comment about nick naming me "cupcake". Well the boss laughed and said "you can nick name me diesel”. My friend snapped back “you don’t give yourself a nick name; other’s give you a nick name. Just for that, your nick name is 2-stroke”.

Sorry, that story came to mind with this thread.

There's really no background yet! Just bought the truck about a month ago, and it was still being prepped for paint. So I really don't have any stories with it yet. All I know is that it was uglier than hell on a bad day before, so maybe like a comeback name?

Since they never made any 2nd Generation Dodge 3500 single wheel trucks from the factory and it must have been built by someone,it would make it easier to name.

They never made 'em? That's interesting because I was thinking the same thing, but couldn't say for sure. All I know is that I'd never seen one.

my dad bought a new 250 club cab ram truck in 1982. my son was born about that time. so dad named it "WAM TWK".. like a little kid trying to learn to talk.

So my wife and I sometimes call my truck Big Red or the Big Red Retard because the cummins sounds like that dude from the Goonies yelling as loud as he can. I say put a sticker that says hippie cannon near the tail pipe.
