440 dakota canyon killer
So I got this kinky idea to plant a fi 440 maltese in a 2002 rear drive Dakota, and I guess Im an unsual guy. You see im not worried about power steering, or even a/c for that matter. I need to find a performance 5 speed that will at least try to hold up to 700lbs of torque. I need an aluminum radiator and electric fan set up that will get me around town at least for a half hr. without melting aluminum heads.Oh yeah did I mention I live at 5400ft and if you want to leave town you will go above 6000ft so I may have to drop my corrected compression ratio to plug in some kind of altitude compensator.HELP!!!!!

If your going to cut corners with a 440 Dakota I would hope you would have as much engine setback as possible and use as much aluminum as possible in the 440 to lighten it up. It sounds like a cool project you should post a few photos.
