electric fan or viscous
hey everyone
it seems my projects for my truck are growing daily
I have a very noisy fan - for about a month now at start up for a few minutes into my drive - the fan sounds like an airplane taking off - the difference being the truck feels like it has no power at all. once the sound goes away, everything acts like normal. Does this sound like a fan issue?
If so, I have been toying with the idea of switching to an electric fan option - if I can afford it. Is this a fair option? Am I really going to gain much with the electric over the viscous? does anyone know a size or speed I should look for?
I had heard 16" with about 3000cfm but I did not know how accurate that was.
Any thoughts or ideas are greatly appreciated
thanks
Sean
