I recently came into a couple of 2007 Charger Pursuit cars and although I feel the bottom ends are still solid I would like to freshen up the top ends with new chain and tensioner and cam upgrade. I have done some research on the 6.1 cam swap but cant seem to nail down the exact specs on them. Anyone here done a cam swap in a 5.7 hemi a what would you recommend for a mild upgrade? If I can avoid having to change valve springs and pushrods I would prefer to go that route.

 

I would stick with the basics Exhaust & intake unless you are going to an aftermarket computer...
NEW timing chain is a very good idea
