Seat swap for 2008 Grand Cherokee Laredo??

My wife has discovered that the driver's seat doesn't fit her well for long drives, and no amount of adjusting is helping.

Are there better seats from the higher-trim models that can swap in?? Or is there a Recaro bolt-in product, perhaps??

You could run into issues with airbag sensors in the different seats not swapping along with control modules incompatibility with the new seats. Remember I said could it could also be a plug and play but who knows. Are you willing to set off your airbags to find out if it works or not?

Hmm, that's food for thought...
custom harnesses, computer reprogramming...
It often becomes a multi-disciplinary engineering exercise to do anything to a car, nowadays!

The wiring harness and module from the donor vehicle would be a valuable resource but your still risking correct operation of the airbags.

I repaired a VW that had been repaired previously and it had hit a parked car on the rt side with only the driver in the car, the rt side dashboard bag went off but not the driver side. It sure rips up the rest of the dash.
