In my Cuda ..would jump from 28 to 29,5 for improve 60 ft and top end speed ... Now with 28 tires with 4.10 ratio my best ET is 9.79 at 142 mph ..1.48 60 ft .. 7200 rpm at finish line .. Look like too rpm ?? Because my power peak is at around 7000 rpm ... My goal is low 9s !!

Time for Dana S60 (Strange) with chromoly tubes, spool and gundrilled axles.

If you stick with the 8 3/4, you need a spool and you should be changing the ring a pinon every 100 pass's or so (before it breaks).

I'd say it's time for the Dana, and you probably broke your trans also.

Hope it Works as Good as it Looks Raffa.....
Did you stay with the 4.10's or go with a 4.30 gear?
Hoping for the new best of a 9.50 for you....

You might want to try that Caltrac bar in the lower hole/closer to parallel to the ground.

I think you have to test to find out what gives the best 60 ft. I believe there will be a difference from top to bottom, depending on how much axle - body separation you get/need and still dead hook.
