Taking place this weekend is the Car Quest NHRA Nationals at the re-furbished raceway now called Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park... Say all that three or four times quickly... I'm now calling it the Arizona Nationals.. This is only a three day race with the Sportsmen cars only getting two qualifying rounds... I think first round is on Saturday morning... The Pros have two qualifying passes on Friday and two on Saturday and final eliminations on Sunday... More as it happens.....

I was right..... Stock, Super Stock and Super Gas have only two qualifying shots on Friday and then Three rounds of eliminations on Saturday... Finals on Sunday with the Pros......


Coverage will be slow on Saturday.... My now best friend has me garage tickets to the Nascar Nationwide Series race at Daytona on Saturday.... But I will do my reporting job but may be a little tardy....

 

I hope better than last weekend...
