My oldest son (nearly 19) has FINALLY decided on a career for himself. My brother is in the same field and makes way more money than I do. I work for Uncle Sugar.

Talk about Happy Mother's Day to ME! My son has decided to go into the auto body business.

He decided against mechanics because mostly they only teach new vehicles anyway, and he only really likes old ones. He figures if he works at a small shop with an older mechanic/owner, he can learn the mechanic ropes that way.

I mean, very few of us are fortunate enough to pick up a project car that DOESN'T need body work/paint. I'm pretty excited and so is he. Wish him luck!

He's about to find out! I think he'll be fine at it, he's basically OCD so endless sanding would suit him. lol
