My 22 year old daughter went through her nine months with little to no difficulties...but the baby did not want to come out.....she was about a week over due and the baby was too big for her body to handle..thus comes the scheduled c-section today...the father has come around to the idea and someday they may get married but that will be another time...he did step up and was there the whole time even through the surgery...one bad pic but she is healthly and I have a warm feeling inside that I haven't for a long time...at least I won't be 80 when she is twenty...I will get some better pictures tomorrow but this is the best for the baby's first day in this world...

Thanks guys...it is the 1xGrand pa....and the good thing is that I will get to see them alot...after two weeks with the dad and his parents she will be coming back here to live...best of both worlds...

 

Carefull what ya wish for!!!! My stepdaughter is a PIG!!She comes by with the babies for a weekend, and it takes us a week to get the house in shape again! the reason I wanted her out with the kids is because she was a pig! No! I'm not a neat-nut! but when you change a diaper....throw it out!~!!!!! She leaves, and we find 8 dirty diapers set all around the house!

There are some new things in the house....a steam bottle warmer....bottle drying rack....wipe warmer and of couse the little one....

 

.............and it begins.... The next time the step kid comes over for a few days, I will take all the diapers she leaves around the house, and hide them in THEIR CAR before they leave!

 

That's really nasty on her part and will be in their car too.....opcorn:

 

Update...she's 2 1/2 months old and a lot more fun with less crying...this is a shot of her watching us as we ate dinner..

 

Enjoy her while she is "little".. The grow up so fast!!! Seems like only yesterday my son was that age but now he has an 8 yr old of his own!!! Damm,,, I must be getting old!!!!!!!!

 

I miss being the Hero in someones life! Now I'm just the old guy that doesn't know anything! And I"M STILL ONLY 46!

 

Grand Pa spoiled her with a potatoe chip...my daughter freaked out twice but all was fine...she is teething and I guess the salt tasted good...for all else...she did not die...and no I am not fat.

 

Good on ya buddy! Since last, the step-pig and her kids moved in with us again! Her dad bought her a trailer, then legally EVICTED her 6 months later cause she was late on her rent! DICK! Yes, she is a slob, but you DONT evict your kid and grandchildren!!! DOUCHE! So shes here now, and I dont mind the 1, and 2, year-olds for now. They are great! At least someone other than the dog greets me when I get home! The wife has them call me grandpa. I prefer Papa, or grandmas husband. Everything we do RIGHT for these kids, shapes their future. The same with the WRONG!

 

My wife and myself are glad she doesn't live with us...she would use us to death and she is still way too much into herself...lots and lots of growing up. The grandchild loves me and doesn't cry for me. She will be over when she's old enough for her first ride in a Mopar and then later on I will teach her how to work and care for them. My daughters only want my cars and have no desire to work on them or learn about them.
