my mom told me i need help.....

i was talking to my mom the other day idk how we got on the topic but we did, she had asked me why my friend rebecca hasnt bin around latly cuase she new her and i had alittle thing or what ever you wanna call it, but i would always pick her up for school and then she'd ride with me to my place some days, and of course i drive the Polara <3

i told her that her and i were pulling out of the school parking lot and a buddy of mine stopped me to talk for a sec. while i was talking she decides to put her feet on the dash. (witch happens to be the nicest part of the car at the time being lol )

but i pretty much went balistic on her and kicked her out of the car. and my mom told me i need help, and yet again to sell the Polara cause it's a P.O.S, just curiouse as to what you all think about that lol

P.OS.??!? that car is beautiful. if a girl put her feet on a car like thats dash, i wouldn't kick her out, but i defiantly tell her to take a chill pill and put her feet down.

You should have gotten wide eyed and whispered to her that "Christine does not like that" and something bad might happen.

well, you do seem to have a bit of a christine vibe going on so i kinda agree with your mom about needing help.

but all of us gearheads were there at one point or another with our first car. but with all our first hoopties, we were lucky to have a girl content with riding in it so i'd reccommend laying off the going ballistic and kicking her out...

I have to agree with most....the ballistsc thing was too far. I know we all love our cars, but in the end, they are just cars. People are much more important. A "please don't do that" would have probably been enough. I actually think an apology is in order.

I remember when I was dating my fience (SP wrong I think) and things kind of changed with her. I had at the time a 66 Mustang that was my first car. She told me I had to sell it she hated it. I told her the car was here before her and would be after her. I never did get a reason she left after 5 years lol.

Lol i agree with that completely.

And you know if a girl disrespects something very important to you (your car in this case) Damn right you get rid of her in my opinion.

OH.
and your mom knows nothing about cars apparently.

I'm was thinking if she had her feet on the dash like in the second picture that John posted saying "* **** *** ***.", then yeah, your a retard and should be beaten.

I think you should have said (not asked) "Hey, put your feet down." If she gave you an attitude, then go ape **** on her and kick her out of the car while degrading her.

Me..... I would have dealt with it in a way that I'm not allowed to write.

She isn't cute is she?

My wife's never put her feet on the dash but I've cleaned headliners more times than I can count and never complained once.

I'm laughing over here because I've been guilty of most of the "charges" here. BF hated it when I put my feet on the dash of his Ford truck. No biggie, I saw the face he made and haven't done it since. Never put your feet on the dash of a vintage car. How rude. Tell her to please not ever do it again.

Nope, no footprints on headliners, but windshield glass? yes? I suggest using the pillar as support.
