1973 plymouth satellite road runner clone restoration
Hi my name is colton. I'm 20 and in the army. I have always had a passion for restoring cars from my 67 galaxie I have done to the 1950 dodge wayfarer 2dr coupe I halfway restored for a senior project. I say halfway because I was involved in an accident. I got rear ended by a dump truck with a salt machine on it forcing me to rid of my dodge in order to help with the purchase of another vehicle. Insurance is still fighting accident to this day. Anyways my few years of body/collision experience and many years of mechanical work from farm equipment all the way to cars and trucks has led me to love classic autos especially mopars. I came across a fella who had a matching numbers road runner and a satallite road runner clone. I became friends with the older guy and he eventually handed me the satallite for FREE! Now when I received the car it was a Rolling chassis. But he told me he had a spare 383 laying around that he would give to me for 200 bucks. On my spare time I have been working on this car to keep me out of trouble, haha. I will continue to post pictures of progress on this car. I have always wanted a road runner and it may not be a real one but I sure want it to look like one and sound like it as well. Any info or tips on part sites you guys recommend would be appreciated. Glad to have found a forum that has such mass amounts of useful and intelligent information.
Thanks,
Colton
Thanks,
Colton
