1991 Dodge W150 transfer case
My 1991 Dodge truck will not shift from 2H to 4H or N or4L. The linkage feels like it is moving but nothing happens. Do I have a linkage adjustment problem or an internal one. What is you best guess. Thanks
Welcome!
You should look under the truck while someone is trying to move the shifter. The transmission need to be in Park or Neutral in order to shift the t-case and you should put tire chocks infront and behind the tires. A lot of the time the bushings are worn out and need to be replaced. Any decent parts store should have them for $10-$20.
