67 Cuda hardtop advice

Hi, I'm new to the group
I have a 67 hardtop (white vinyl) I have never seen one restored and cant find a picture of one like it anywhere online.
It has an inline slant 6 that is locked up and the transmission needs repaired.
Do I restore it to original or do a restomod?
Thanks for any advice. Would love to see any pics if anyone has one restored like it.

I guess it's your choice. You could restore as a 6 cylinder which is easier than a major conversion. Cudas are great cars for converting to muscle. You'd of course have to start from the radiator cap and work backwards. K frame or conversion mounts for the larger engine. Matching transmission with at least an 8 3/4 rearend. It's always cheaper finding one done but then of course you'd miss out on building your own car the way you want it.
My friend stuffed a 360 in his 68 and it was a very fast car.

Welcome to the site.... I would convert it to a Small Block, Automatic or 4 speed car and enjoy the heck out of it.... Cheers...

When I was in high school a buddy of mine had a notch back 68 or 69 that was a 340 car, 4 speed and about six layers of black paint on it. It looked pretty ratty but it ran strong. I personally like a big block either a big inch 383 or 440.
