69 roadrunner a/c help

Greetings to all from a new member. I own a 69 roadrunner 383 4 speed with Non A/C. I reside in Las vegas Nevada and need to add A/C to my RR (It's a must here) so i purchased a complete A/C unit out of a 69 donor GTX to install in my RR. My question to all, Has anyone done this before and does anyone have a template to use so i can cut the holes for the motor and a/c lines that would eventually come out of the firewall. The 2 firewalls look identical (minus the holes) so it looks to be feasible. Any quidance, comments is much appreciated. Been turning wrenches for about 30 years. Just retired from the military and want to get back to my passion....Mopars

Welcome!

I'm of no help here but I am sure there are more than a few people here who have done this before who could assist you with it.

Welcome aboard. Maybe find a junk car that had A/C and make a cardboard template of the holes on the firewall.

You would have to change the whole dash !! Complete heater system, wiring and what not... Also need to convert to R134 refrigerant. I would have gone with a Vintage air system or some such brand

Everyone thanks for your input. I'm sure there's someone in this Forum that has performed this A/C install. It doesn't look difficult i'm sure i can manage it. I've got all the parts. Dash, vents complete plenum hoses and wiring etc. Comments and advise are always helpful to avoid any pitfalls. If anyone has ever lived in the desert it's a must to have a/c in any car.
