72 psat rr project

i just bought a 72 rr clone ( i paid 3g) it has a non original 360 with 4 speed hurst shifter offenhauser intake edelbrock carb, the guy i bought it from told me it had a police rear end then again he told me it was a real rr not clone i dont really care btw...is anyone out there that can help me get this bird off the ground...it has not been run in 10 years, i am extremely worried that the engine is seized, also the gas tank has a hole in it, and the front frame rail i belive need a patch theres a ton more bodywork, little background... i am NOT planning on doing a restore to this, just do the necessary work so i can drive this car...also i am trying to learn a little diy, thats why i signed up...MOPAR RULES FOREVER (in carland)... thanks in advance to all who care to respond
what should i do with first? ps pics are in the album section if u want to look

Welcome!

I'd look for another gas tank and hardware to install. As far as the frame goes, you might want to consider a professional if youhave no experience with welding. Just my .02

As far as the motor goes, remove the carb and soak it in a bucket of gas for a while and then clean it. Replace all the fuel filters. Remove all the plugs and give each cylinder a couple of squirts of Marvel Mystery Oil. Drain the oil, install a new oil filter and new oil. Rotate the motor by hand (nut and ratchet on the crank pulley bolt) about a dozen times. Probably do this a few times with giving each cylinder a squirt before hand.

Before starting it back up, drain the coolant and fill it back up with a flush kit and water.

yes the solinoid

the engine was cranking but without enough power to get it to fire...my friend crossed the post (went to the battery side of the sloenoid) with a screwdriver and got it to crank but when i turned the key nothing,,,so were hoping thats it...but in general things went pretty well yesterday...engine NOT seized thank god...roadrunner horn works hhh after i hit it with wd40...according to my friend the spark plugs looked fine so we didnt use the mystery oil...carb was kind of rusty and sticky let it soak in wd40...blinkerslights work ...high beam button completely rusted tight...hurst shifter4 speed hooked up but with tons of play need to refasten down...all the fram rails and floors are very solid except a spot right drivers side ffront rail where theres a bracket there is a pretty good sized hole right in a horrible spot...this car may have been undercoated it came from canada..ac unit missing in action dont know where it went...the seatbelts are in the trunk yeah...some of the tacs are working... cool, going to probably need new brak lines and probably need brakes one of the wheels was seized when i bought the car...we had to take off the wheel and knock it loose with a hammer...there is some patch panels needed for exterior..the only thing im worried about is that stinking frame hole where where the bracket sits hopefully i can find a crack welder to at least stabilize or reinforce that particular section...will post more updates as i get them...i hope today is the day this phoenix will rise from the ashes...

Sounds like the starter relay is bad. You should be able to pick one up at any parts store.
