76 duster, left wheel sits farther back than right

Hello guys, I'm brand new here, went from a 82 vette to a 76 duster, pretty stoked about the whole thing, but heres my question, think I was hearing me left passenger side tire rub on something, can't find what it is but I went to measure the back side of the tire to the fender & I am seeing a half inch difference between the two sides, looks like the passenger tire sets farther back than the drivers side, how do I move the tire more forward, is it a frame problem? Can it be moved half an inch or did I buy a jacked up frame bent car??

Welcome.

Get a friend and measure from the center of the back wheel to the center of the front wheel on both sides and compare before you get too worried, then report back.

Here to help.

I'm pretty sure it drove straight, only drove it once so far, I hear a pop from drivers side which I'm pretty sure the upper ball joint is bad, I thought I heard from passenger side, the wheel rub but when I was looking to see what rubbed, I couldn't find where it was rubbing at, of course didn't hear that before I bought it, I'll know more this weekend, can't get to my garage for any period of time due to wife being out of town & having a new puppy that freaks when I leave her

Could simply be that your OLD mopar needs new parts and a alignment!
