Always admired Mopars
Hi. Clark here. I may be out of place as I do not own a Mopar car nor have I ever. In my youth I was indeed into hotrodding but owned mostly Pontiacs. Challengers, 'Cudas and the other Mopars always earned my respect as well engineered, beautiful machines. Feel free to make derogatory remarks about Pontiacs. You won't hurt my feelings.
I have joined because I need some guidance. I belong to several diverse forums and found that members are the best source of information.
I have been storing vintage Mopar parts for a friend and need to liquidate them. He has, in my opinion, been offered a pittance for them. As a connoisseur of vintage items in general, I do not wish to see them scrapped or in any way desecrated. I hope to find a home for them in the restoration of a vintage vehicle. Of course, I'd also like the owner to get top dollar for them.
More later, just wanted to introduce myself.

Welcome, Put a list together and post it. Remember sometime if something is priced high you will have to sit on it for a long time. Right now it is a buyers market, to many people are very desperate for money and are selling there stuff cheap. So put a fair price on it and be ready to negociate the price. To the point that both parties are happy. Just my opinion and I learned from experience, if it doesnt sell its no good for anyone.

I love all classics. I have a 1957 Oldsmobile Super 88 along with my 1972 Duster. IMO, Mopar had the best collection of muscle cars, so for my muscle car I wanted to go Mopar, but for just a Sunday cruise to the ice cream shop with the kids, nothing beats my '57
My friend has a 1962 Bonneville, and that thing a sweet cruiser as well...
I really wish some of these auto manufacturers would just say to hell with aerodynamic models and worrying about fuel mileage so much and sit down with a block of clay again and make some art. Like they used to. Classic cars are art, because an artist used to sit down with a block of clay and make it look awesome. Then they'd worry about engineering it,... now it seems the other way around, they seem to build an aerodynamic shell around the "features" and forget that the look of the car is the most important feature to a lot of us.
Of course, as a Mopar fan, they nailed the new Challenger...

Thanks to all. Actually I spoke a bit of an untruth. I own a '96 Dodge 2500 van. Technically not a "car" so it slipped my mind. Gets used only occasionally as I really do not enjoy driving it. Bone stock, rides like a truck, no AC (and the heat is stuck on), has the v-6 which is really a sawed off 318.
