Back up lights issue
Back up lights issue
Hi
I am a newby I live in Australia.
I was hoping that someone could tell me how you adjust the back up light position on the a US left hand drive Dodge Coronet 1966 model 440.
When I put the shifter which is on the steering column into reverse the reversing lights seem to come on in an early position and then goes out in the correct reversing position, does anyone who how I adjust the shifter to be in the correct location. I dont have a service manual to assist me.

I'm not familiar. But you can download a shop manual for free for 66 here:
http://www.mymopar.com/index.php?pid=109
the link
http://www.mymopar.com/downloads/ser...ice_Manual.zip
This does not follow the Mopar standard "dash" page numbers, so you'll have to play with the page numbers to find the section you want
I could not find this specifically. Page 599 in your viewer, (original page 21-49) has some on the linkage adjustment. I looked in my 67 manual (The 67 has a collapsible column, so is probably much different) and the bracket which holds the switch to the side of the column has slotted holes.
