Talking building a bee!

Hello I am from Central N.Y. and a proud owner of a 1970 Superbee 440. I am in need of some help though. what would be the easiest way to hotwire the ignition system to power up the coil so i can fire up my engine? I have the factory style electronic ignition system, engine compartment wiring hooked up, but incomplete dash wiring. I just want to break-in my engine before i worry about anything else right now. any help would be great!!

Welcome!

You might want to post your question in the engine or electrical section. Might get more response.

That will take a lil doing but should be no problem.Get a wiring diagram for your aftermarket elec ignition, then wire it up temporary.Jump the starter relay with a screw driver while a helper works the carb lever. Make sure the car cant move"neutral or park".Check all fluids and fire it up.

1st make certain car can't move !!! Neutral or park !!!! Jumper from bat + to coil + and jump starter ! This is with no alt as well ! Remove wire to coil to turn off I put a light switch in line so I could shut it down easy . Good luck !! Be safe
