Heeeeelllllloooooo

Hi.. I'm Kevin.. Electrician.. Motorhead.. Just getting into a 72 Charger project.. Expecting it to take the better part of my 20's to complete, but it's a labour of love..
My plans are a.. 6.1 Hemi with 5 speed TKO 600.. As the Charger is a total basketcase, but rust free, and low mileage.

I currently own.. 1989 Ram 150..
And... A 2010 Camaro SS..

I'm a chevy guy.. But I love Mopars..
Unfortunately.. I have no pictures of the Ram.. Oh well.

I have one of it out in the field..
30,000 original miles, black interior.. Bucket seats and a console.. That's what drew me in mostly, floors, frame, 1/4's are all pretty solid.. It's just not very nice to look at, for the moment.

I had 1972 Charger 340 with a 727 full manual valve body and 3:91 gears..The motor was built and ran 12s in the 1/4 I loved that car.. But the kids were more important so I sold it..Now that there grown and long gone I just built a 1972 Duster 360 with basicly the same set up minus the 3:91s....(See avitar )Nice car and it looks like a good one cant wait to see it during the build...What color have you decided on???...Bill

I'm torn.. Ranging from Favourite to 3rd favourite..
Plum Crazy, Sassy grass, or Vitamin C..

I've never owned a purple car before..

Welcome mate. That is a good choice in charger. The purple would be a kool colour.Down under there is a '71 RT for sale $69,000 yellow looks awesome.Bet you can't wait to get stuck into it.

The new color, Plum Crazier is a pearl paint that is on the new Challengers...Vitamin C has been used up on the Dukes of Hazzard even though that was a 69 Charger everyone will ask you if your going to put an 01 on the doors...Color was one of the hardest decisions I had to make on my Duster I really like Sassy Grass but a local landscaper has his trucks painted that color...Plum Crazy is used alot so I decided on Citron Yella/Curious yellow...Bill

It's funny, around here there is very few plum crazy cars, lots of red, orange, green..
I can't have another orange one, it would clash.. But Plum Crazy just seems right..
