Hello with questions

I am going to look at a 1953 coronet convertible tomorrow and have some questions:
1) Are there parts out there if/when I need them - initial web searching doe not show much
2) Is there a site that will tell me more about this car - for example what is the suspension front and back - drums all around etc.... of course I will look when I get there....
3) How about performance parts for the red ram 241 hemi
4) Can I upgrade to a bigger motor - a newer hemi

Thanks all - hopefully the car will be what I want and I will be joining you all here in a bigger way.

Parts

Wellcome to the site. You can get a new grate hemi that doe's not need a computer.$$

Parts are available. Just Google 241 Hemi or 1953 Dodge and you'll see all you want.

welcome to the forum. Id look real close at all the sheet metal. if its really rusty, Id be leary of it, thats your weak point, You dont have alot of vendors selling metal parts for that car. the motor/ trans part isnt a big deal. still alot of stuff for them out there. Like the top. if its trashed, your gonna pay somebody some bucks to fab you a new one. all the glass too. good luck.

A '53 Coronet convertible sounds like it would be a fun car to own! How did it go?
