Hey! Little Help?

Hi there,

long time mopar fan here. My names kyle and I've owned mopars all my life. My most recent mopar was a 71 cuda. Unfortunately/fortunately I sold my cuda for a downpayment on my house.

I'm finally in the place where i can get my next car and I'm feeling the itch.

I wont be able to get into a cuda, but I found a coronet that I really like. I'm writing to see if someone happens to be near belleville Michigan and would be willing to check it out for me. I'm mostly concerned about the rust. I would or course pay for your time and gas. If no one is near, does anyone have advice on how to get an inspection? I really dont want to pay an arm and a leg considering I would have to ship it and the car is 10k.

Also, I have a bunch of pictures of the car, but am waiting on more of the undercarriage, firewall, and fenders.

Thank you to whoever took the time to read

-Kyle

For sure going to need some under the car photos.
Looks like it had a hood fire?
Look at the tilt of the passenger seat. Looks like a floor pan issue?
Dash pad looks like it has water damage inside the car?
Who knows what the paint is covering up?

From what I see.... And this is just me!!! If the car at this point Starts/ Drives/ Stops/ And Steers?
I would go in at $6,000 and plan to meet in the middle, and hope the car is not to far gone underneath the rust and paint... But looks like it can be fixed up with a fair amount of work.
Not to hard here in CAli.....
Keep us posted if you pull the trigger !!!!

Thanks man, I decided to pass. It was going for 12. I love the look and vert, but to feel comfortable, I'd need to fly down and I would be spending too much at that point.

I'm still looking though!
