Hi I am Gary

In the mid 1970's I bracket raced a 73 Dodge Dart sport.I sold the car in the late 1970's and really haven't paid much attention to the Mopar's since. So alot....no a ton of stuff has happened since.

So when I ask a newbie question, bear with me.Honestly I guess that is whom I am.

Gary

Welcome Gary,
I love the big block mopars, I have swapped them into A body's, Jeep's and J bodys.

I can tell you how to make 650 hp with iron heads or 520 hp with 9.5 cr with iron headed a 440, or at least what works for me.

We are now working with forty five year old junk, and we are 60 year old plus year old junk, your going to spend big money to go fast. Have fun!

I am rebuilding a 440 that has 452 heads. Standard bore on the block. Anyone recommend a good cam with good sound that is a bit better than stock? heads will have a 3 angle valve job but that's about it.

Start your own thread, but this is one for you to look at, you need a complete kit. http://www.compcams.com/Company/CC/c...?csid=699&sb=2
