HI ! from Va.!/ 68 RR
Glad to be aboard. 68 RR 383, slush-box, 124K miles, Maaco green paint job - $400 by previous owner. Just got it late Dec. for 12K. Eng rebuilt/and tranny. Runs down the road good. some electrical issues. It's a driver/not a show car, but I'm fine w/ that. I'd like to do some of the mechanicals if members could advise me. Re: electrical, basic upkeep w/out getting too technical, . Put new windshield in and radio (done by techs). I'm 66 and bought it from a 78 yr. old man in MI. Had it shipped and a thrill to see it come out of the truck!!!!

Good to see you are keeping the old Detroit iron alive, I too have a '68 RR and I just love it. REAL NICE driver and show car. I have gone thought the four wheel drum brakes and added Lukus to my oil change and done a lot of general mant. All and all just a fun car to drive and I get alot of attention where ever I go (in the summer) living in Buffalo, I have a short season. I can't wait for spring ! good luck with your car. BTW my car is mostly original is LL1 turquoise metallic and also a 383. Happy motoring ........
