Howdy from yet another newbie
Sorry about the "test", I had a long story typed in and when I went to "submit", I was no longer logged in -
Anyway, I grew up in a Mopar household and have a fondness for the older early-mid sixties stuff (polyspherical head 318s anyone?).
My dad was a new car salesman at Kenyon Dodge in Clearwater, FL on US19 back in 1969-1971. He used to bring home demonstrator cars for us to "try out" for a week or two such as Chargers, Dart Gts, etc. We always had a couple of others in the drive also (Savoys, Valiants, Furys, Chrysler Newports, etc). He was always trading for another one somewhere. He swore about the safety and superiority of the torsion bar suspension. He was also a mechanic and knew every nut and bolt on those cars. I can barely remember all of us piled in the '63 Savoy station wagon screaming across the country on vacation. The old slant-6 would hold 100 miles per hour all day long.
Lots of great memories.
So, the other day I was going through some old stuff and came across an old Super Bee Tie Clasp he was given while working at Kenyon Dodge, and was wondering if these have any collector value. Does anyone here have any info on these (i.e. value, collectablility, etc)?
Thanks!
I might lurk around here for a while, if that's ok. Looks like it might be fun!
