IL guy here
Hi all. I just decided to join up here for a few reasons.
I'm looking for a plastic thermoquad body, mine is cracked. I'll go get the number from it here in a little while.
I have a big block 440 transmission here that I'm looking to unload. It came out of an RV.
Also have a 440 cast iron stock intake manifold that I need to get rid of as well. I believe both are from 73'
Once work picks up again, I'll be looking for a 75' royal Monaco if there are any of them left.
A little about myself, I build and race 80's full size Oldsmobiles. I currently have 2 1985 Delta 88s. One of them was my first car that I got for 50 bucks 11 years ago. It's on it's 3rd motor, 3rd rearend, and second transmission. All the work done in the backyard at my dad's place with my buddies and beers.
My friend down the street that I have been wrenching' with since grade school on bicycles, has an 86 ram charger, a 67' Chrysler town and country wagon, and a 66 barracuda.
Used to have a 68 coronet as well, but it's Chicago lifestyle made it too rotten to repair.
I look forward to seeing some cool cars on this site.
