Need help with a decision

So I can either buy a 1974 charger with a 318(good condition) for 6k. Or I can get two 1969 impalas one that has a 383 stroker that is 4 door and fully restored and looks very good and another 69 impala 2 door with a 327 that needs some restoration. It needs a complete engine and trans rebuild as well as some body work with a new paintjob but the interior is very clean. That goes for 7k. So, should I get the charger or the two impalas? I dont have very much room and I don't even know where I would put the second impala. I'm so unsure right now. I'm 17 and want to get one or the other. I love how both the impala and charger look. I dont have pictures for the other impala that needs restoration and I have not looked at it yet.

This is a Mopar forum and you're asking Mopar people to pick between them what do you think we are going to say?
Go Mopar....

I like that grey Charger, myself. Looks like it needs work done to it. I'd check the car out carefully. Good luck!

Welcome.

If you want to cruise around with your buddies smoking weed then get the 4 door Impala. If you want a very desirable muscle car then it is Charger.

I've been down this road several times with my 3 sons and the first questions you have to ask yourself are these:

#1- what is your mechanical abilities, your young so you can learn.
#2- what tools and equipment do you have access to.
#3- is this going to be your only transportation, could it be off the road for say a full week while upgrading/repairing.

That Charger is a hard to find and good looking at any angle, the Impala is your Mom's car. If the Charger is not rotted check it out closely, if the Charger is rust free BUY it NOW.
