New Charger Owner

I'm a new owner of a 1974 Dodge Charger SE, and proudly serving in the United States Air Force. I'm currently stationed in Europe, so shops that can handle mopars are rare, so it's looking like I'll have to do most of the work myself. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Lately my transmission has been acting up. It's a 3 speed automatic, and when it's in 3rd gear, it likes to downshift to 2nd randomly then go back to 3rd. It does this repeatedly. Any ideas?
