I have some rear ends laying around but don't know if they would work with out doing a lot of custom work. The one is a 8.8 out of a merc the other is a ford 9. I I wanted disc breaks and the 8.8 has them. Also how would I go about putting discs on the front .

Yeah I thought it was weird that it didn't have disc in the front.

I found out it has the 7.25 some I'm looking for a 8.25 to put in.

Well what are you looking to do for the motor? If you're going to upgrade it at a later point, it might be worth looking for an 8 3/4 rear.
