ah any advice on gaining hp in an 82 dodge mirada?

Sure: What you have in there? Is it all stock? And will it be a daily driver with power brakes and ac? And lastly budget????

He has a lean burn 140 hp 318 with little to no money.

if you don't have to smog the thing, i'd swap it for a late '60s model 318. 230 horses and 340 torque, ya can't go wrong. slap on an intake, 4bbl and headers and watch it fly!
