Just stopping by to post a greeting. Hi! (That's the greeting ) Not new to anything, but have been involved in Land Speed Racing a motorcycle and still am. Got a new project and thought I ought to meet some new folks.

Thank you and I'm glad to be here. I've been dropping by to have a look see and thought I ought to join. I'm not a real big poster, but I'm always looking for info.
My current project. The pic makes the car look nicer than it is. Took this pic when I lost the skirts, the stock wheels and the 14" tires. Showing off it's new S/S's and 15" TA's.
'07 Super Glide at Bonneville 2017. Nearly crashed about 60 seconds later. Salt was wet and soft, went into a tank slapper around the 2 mile mark. Only made one more pass that week just to get over the wild ride.

I've always wanted to do some salt shaking but a trip in 14 to Salt Lake City made my eyes burn red until I left. Maybe I'll go to Ohio's flying mile.

The salt can be cruel, lol. My first trip I had black and silver leathers and the temps were running about 113 degrees. I'm kind of a desert rat but I did get white leathers made. That and a pair of Serengeti shades and a whole bunch of liquids gets you through the day. Last I heard was the Ohio Mile was done for.

Thanks for the compliment Dyno! Maybe see you around somewhere. My brother has decided to start drag racing and I'm going to try and give him a run for his money, lol. He goes to Irwindale and Fontana occasionally. So far I haven't been able to get him out to Bakersfield. I'm not a fan of 8th mile drags, so Irwindale doesn't interest me too much. Anyway, keep an eye out for me and the car and maybe we'll get to meet in person.
