New Member Down Under - '70 Super Bee
G'day All,
New to the forum and relatively new to MOPAR ownerhip.
I've just bought a 1970 Dodge Super Bee 440 Six Pack with a Hurst Pistol Grip 4 Speed.
The car is in transit to me at the moment but hopefully the car gets delivered in the next week or so and is still in good order when she arrives.
Had a whole swath of cars over the years but I'm looking to get back to basics after computer dramas with my other car at present!
This Super Bee was imported to Australia in 2013 apparently but I don't have any history of the car before or after until I bought it last weekend.
I have already run the VIN and build plate so that's not a mystery but I'm keen to get the car home so I can crawl over it and learn more about her!
I've previously owned a 1972 Satellite Coupe along with a host of Buicks, Fords etc etc. Always been a Mopar tragic but I've been waiting until I could get my hands on the right one.
This was my No 1 choice, a 1968 Charger R/T was number 2 and a 1970 Challenger R/T was number 3.
There's no accounting for taste so they say.
Let me know what you think!

I've never much understood why people would own a car and not use the hell out of it so no, it won't be a garage queen.
Given my vehicle history, I'll be putting on a new set of wheels and rubber fairly soon, once I can decide on what looks best. After that, I'll likely add the Hotchkis TVS kit and shocks to bring the handling under control.
I don't have crazy plans for the motor really. Probably do Digital Electronic ignition like an MSD HVC kit and a pro-billet distributor just so it's reliable.
Depending on the condition and sound of the exhaust, I have a Flowmaster Stainless 'American Thunder' system lined up if needed.
Keen to hear opinions about best quality headers. I've looked at Hooker Comp and Super Comp ceramic coated headers but I'll take advice on what fits and works best!
Nice to meet you! That is a very nice Super Bee! I recently just got a 71 Dodge W150. I was interested in my truck because of the awesome cars that I knew of that Mopar was producing around this year. So I thought it a safe bet on this w150, lol! Make sure you update with picture of the new wheels for your Super Bee!
