Just sold my 53 GMC recently and bought this 66 Coronet 500. It has a 440 Super Commando from a GTX. Has 3.91 gears with a manual reverse shift kit which I wasn't sure I would like but after driving it a couple times I love this gear set. I had a 67 Coronet RT when I was a kid so this really takes me back. I got this Coronet from a gentleman that was 2nd owner and had it for 25 years. He also gave me the original 383 engine with it. Looking forward to spending time on the forum.

Thanks Scott, yes It's just too nice to mess with. The previous owner had redone it recently but had not installed seat belts so that's all I need to do. By the way that is the original colors for the interior of this car. Looks like different shades of green. I think the carpet is moss green. It kinda grows on you. lol

She's beautiful!
I had a 440 Commando in my '67 GTX. Keep an eye on your power steering pump seal.
That was the only thing I kept having to replace.
